Bio

Angelica Sgouros has at times been a grassroots organizer, bookseller and publishing professional. She works as a freelance editor and writer, based between Athens and rural Maine.

She is a research MA student in Cultural Analysis at the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis (ASCA) at the University of Amsterdam, where her work explores narratives of grief, desire, ecstasy, and mystical affect.

She is also an editor-at-large at Barricade, a journal of literary translation and antifascist politics, and a dues-paying member of FAC_Research and The Publishing Triangle.
